Looking for an individual or couple to manage New York's premier clothing-free resort and campgrounds for the camping season (which runs from the beginning of May to the end of September). The position is seasonal and runs for approximately 6 months of the year.  This is a hands-on position – the right person or team is able to jump in and help when and where needed.  

Must be comfortable in a clothing-free atmosphere.


Skills necessary to succeed in this role include:  proven experience as a general manager or similar executive role, knowledge of business processes and functions, excellent communication skills, problem-solving aptitude, thoughtful leader, and confident decision-maker.


Responsibilities include: 

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of campground:  customer service, customer registration, snack bar, housekeeping

  • Oversee recruitment, training, and scheduling of staff

  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally

  • Monitoring and ensuring the continuous quality of guest services

  • Must have the ability to analyze complex situations and effectively problem solve

  • Handle customer questions, requests and complaints in a professional manner.

  • Evaluate and improve workflow processes

Full- and Part-Time Clubhouse (Front-Desk/Kitchen) Staff

Looking for a fun summer job and way to maintain an awesome tan without tanlines? Are you a jack (or jill!) of all trades and enjoy variety in your work day?  Come join us at Empire Haven, New York's premier clothing-free resort and campgrounds. We have openings for full-time and part-time staff members for the 2022 camping season - which runs approximately from middle of May to the end of September. Hours may vary at the beginning and end of the season (weather-dependent).  These positions are based mainly in the Clubhouse. Requires working weekends and holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day). If you have a customer-service oriented attitude, enjoy doing a variety of tasks, are reliable, and want to spend your summer in a fun atmosphere, this might be the job for you.


Skills necessary to succeed in this role include:  Minimally must have basic computer skills (incl Microsoft Excel and Word), cashier experience, and a pleasant attitude. 


Responsibilities include: 

  • Front desk check-in

  • Answering the phone

  • Taking reservations

  • Handling our Snack Bar

  • Cleaning in Clubhouse

  • May also include housekeeping in our rental units
