Part-Time Clubhouse Front-Desk Needed

Looking for a fun summer job and way to maintain an awesome tan without tanlines? Are you a jack (or jill!) of all trades and enjoy variety in your work day?

Come join us at Empire Haven, New York's premier clothing-free resort and campgrounds. We now have openings for part-time staff members (that have the possibility to turn into full-time positions for motivated individuals) for the 2021 camping season - which runs approximately from the beginning of May to the middle of September. Hours may vary at the beginning and end of the season (weather-dependent).

These positions are based mainly in the Clubhouse. Responsibilities include front desk check-in and cleaning. Requires working most weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day). If you have a customer-service oriented attitude, enjoy doing a variety of tasks, and want to spend your summer in a fun atmosphere, this might be the job for you. Minimally must have basic computer skills (incl Microsoft Excel and Word), customer service & cashier experience, and a pleasant attitude.

Our Snack Bar is open 7 days a week and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Click here to look at the Snack Bar menu. Don't forget our cookouts on the patio, as well as our Friday night dinners - fish fry is a favorite! A variety of Empire Haven apparel, merchandise, and various sundry items are also available for purchase at the Snack Bar.

While we love the warm, sunny days, sometimes they don't stay that way. As we cannot control Mother Nature, no refunds are given for inclement weather.

*Starting 2020, our annual membership is only for Empire Haven. If you would like an AANR membership as well, you will need to add $46/person.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Cancellation Policy: reservations cancelled more than 2 weeks prior to scheduled arrival time will receive a refund less $5 cancellation fee OR full credit to be used during current season. Reservations cancelled within 4 days to 2 weeks of arrival time will receive a refund less a $25 cancellation fee OR full credit less a $5 rebooking fee. Any cancellations made 3 days or less OR less than 2 weeks notice for a holiday/special event weekend (includes Memorial Day, 4th of July, Northeast Naturist Festival, Beer, Wine & More, and Labor Day) will receive NO REFUND/CREDIT. All refunds are given back in the method they were paid.

Clubhouse Services

WiFi access is available for a fee. Temporary gate cards are available for a $30 cash deposit. Bagged ice and propane exchange are also available at the Front Desk in the Clubhouse.

CAMPING SITES

Daily grounds fees are additional. Generally, tent sites and 30 amp RV sites do not need to be reserved in advance, unless a particular site is desired. As there is only one 50 amp RV site, it is encouraged that it be reserved to ensure availability.

Tent site - no electric or water ..... $12.00 per night, $72 per week

Tent site with electric and water ..... $15.00 per night, $90 per week

RV site, 30 amp with electric and water ..... $15.00 per night, $90 per week

RV site, 50 amp with electric and water ..... $25.00 per night, $150 per week

RENTAL UNITS

Daily grounds fees are additional. Rental units should be reserved in advance with a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover to guarantee availability.

Linens are provided in all rental units. Bath towels (for use only in the rental) can be signed out at the front desk, if desired.

*Reminder: Rates are for 2 adults and up to 3 children.

There is no smoking (including vaping) in any of our rentals.

Each additional adult is $10/night.

One-Bedroom Cabin

Sleeping accommodations only - bathrooms/shower located in the clubhouse

Rate is $55.00 per night (Sites 16, 69A , 69B)

Free Yoga Session

Saturday, July 16th 10:15-11:15AM

On Saturday, July 16th from 10:15 to 11:15AM, come stretch your body and mind in a yoga class that is being offered for FREE in the Sunning Lawn area!

We welcome yoga instructor, Sonya from Langan Wellness. Sonya will also be guiding morning Yoga at SENTIENT Festival. Here is some basic info on her: https://www.langanwellness.com/about

Students are asked to bring a mat/towel, water and any yoga props.
